Last session of JavaOne Japan

JavaOne Japan ends today, I'm just listening to the last session, JavaScript in Java.

The conference has been great, but tomorrow starts my photography trip, and that is even better.

Well travel around in Japan for a few weeks.

Severe jetlag

Ok, I almost feel asleep during the session on project coin.

Took the elevator down to the shopping mall and bought a coffee.

Regarding the conference. I'm lucky, the sessions that I attend are held in English, so most of the Japanese people needs to listen to a simultaneous translation. Must be hard. I wonder how much the translator can translate. He/she must be fluent in English/Japanese and also have a good knowledge of technical aspects and programming.

Btw, There's also one guy who is hearing impaired, so there's a man who is translating from English to Japanese sign language. Talk about tough job.

I'm smoked

The first keynote was held in English, the second one is held in Japanese, and the translator must be sleeping, because I only hear Japanese in the ear plug.

Elvis is in the building

... Ok, I'm not Elvis, but I'm in the conference building.

The conference is at the 49th floor of the Rappongi Hills Mori Tower.

Most sessions will be in English, so I have to listen to a translation.
