It's really easy to travel by train in Japan. I'm now on the bullet train, aka Shinkansen.
There are usually English signs on the train stations, and the tracks have different markings that says where a certain car stops.
I boarded car 8.

Got up early, and took a bullet train to Hiroshima. It takes about 2h with direct train, and you can only take direct trains in the morning.

Did not buy a breakfast at the station, the plan is to have breakfast in Hiroshima, so just had some candy and water as snack.
